This seems to be related to the GridView's HorizontalAlign property, I've just discovered it.
When it's set to Left or Right, the bug happens, when it's NotSet, Center or Justify looks OK .
Also, when it's Left or Right, putting the GridView inside a Panel seems to fix the look, yet it's strange.
